It has made it to my summer reading list - that's for sure! As for how scrapping has impacted my relationships - it's really helped me focus on the everyday things we do as a family or that I do with friends. Those are the moments worth celebrating and acknowledging - which I do by making pages about them! About 10 years ago I joined a Yahoogroup for OhioScrappers, and met at least 10 girls from the tristate area that I have stayed friends with and still to this day scrapbook with on a regular basis. Also, I've been digging out old photos of myself with my husband and remembering good times with him, too. Moments such as baking a pie with my young grandson, or watching a baby bird take flight for the first time with him. These are documented by scrapbooking them so we also spend time looking at the pics and remembering together, time well spent. Hopefully he'll learn that there is more to life than video games and will want to pass this value on to the next generation by having this visual reminder of our time together!
