:REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Double-page Design from Ella Publishing [CONTEST CLOSED]

Double-Page Design is the newest eBook from Ella Publishing.

The editorial content and inspired design samples in this great new edition come to us from the ladies of Write. Click. Scrapbook., which is known as an “inspiration collective” of over 30 experienced scrapbook designers (who share the belief that scrapbooking can be simple, stress-free, and fun.

While the contributors that single-page designs certainly have there appeal, double-page spreads can not only help us to include more photos in our memory-keeping, but also give us a larger canvas in expressing our creative.

They assure us that we don't need to be intimidated my more space, but should embrace it!

Double-Page Design is divided into 7 sections by the number of photos included on the samples beginning with five photos and ending with a section including layouts with 11-13 photos.

Each section includes three samples by various artists from the Write.Click.Scrapbook team and both 8.5x11 and 12x12 spreads are represented.

At the end, there is also as section of Bonus Sketches from Donna Jannuzzi, the designated sketch artist for Ella Publishing. There are 16 sketches included that are easy-to-follow and adapt.

I prefer double page layouts simply because I always have a ton of photos to scrap. I'm one of those scrappers that has a really difficult time paring down the photos to put on a page. I also like to turn a page in my album and have both sides be the story. Thanks for a chance to win a great prize!!

I prefer double page layouts....one, because that's how I was introduced to scrapbooking and two, because I have so many pictures, I need BOTH pages.

I used to do strictly single page layouts but only in the last few months have I become more likely to do a double-page layout. Love the flow of the pages.

I do mostly two page layouts. I still have one child left in high school & he's very involved with his music. Lots of marching band, choir, jazz, band, competitions! I need the space for all the pictures I take.

It really depends on what I'm scrapping or how many photos of an event I have. I would say I do more double page layouts, but definitely also do single pagers.

I usually do 2 page layouts just simply because they are more pleasing to the eye! You don't fell like you have a "leftover" page just dangling there if you have a two page layout!

I usually do two pages I think the reason is that they look better in the album. Usually I have enough pictures to do 2 or 3 double layouts.

Great contest! I've been doing one page layouts lately - but coordinating pages that are across from each other. I think I'm a little intimidated by the idea of two page layouts - a book like this would help! Thanks for the chance to win!

That is really hard to answer because it depends on the photos. But the past year I have just been doing single layouts since a lot of blogs just do a single page layout sketch challenge. Thanks for the chance to win :)

It depends on how many pictures I want to use . . . . double spreads accommodate more pics, but I like the flexibility of single LOs too. They're both good and have a purpose!

I prefer double page LO's. I think the scrapbook just flows better when the pages go together. Also, I am "an event" scrapper, so I normally have more that enough photos to fill 2 pages!

I prefer single page layouts! I think double pagers just feel like too much open space for me. The only time I feel comfortable with double pagers is when I use a sketch. Thank you for the awesome giveway!
